Great marketing internship offered at our webstore.

In this internship, the intern will be given tasks relating to online marketing, eCommerce and fulfillment.  These tasks will be mostly related to:

It is very difficult to tell you exactly what you will be doing before you arrive as our projects tend to be short. The kind of work you will be doing will most likely be as follows:

• Creating and optimizing products for our sales channels e.g. eBay, Amazon, website.  This includes working with descriptions, photos and categorizations
• Translation of product descriptions for our international channels e.g. Amazon.de, Amazon.com, ebay.fr etc
• Creation of content for the purposes of search engine optimization
• Writing articles for our blog
• Helping with order fulfillment

This work involves extensive use of computers, especially Microsoft word and Excel.

Whilst we try and give interns a variety of work, we obviously cannot give everyone experience of everything during a short internship.  

Example projects

• Launching Amazon Spain. This involved translating products into Spanish, categorizing the products, setting up Amazon.es account and pricing products
• Writing blog posts on parenting issues and product reviews – no previous experience required!
• Understanding and improving eBay titles to increase find-ability and sales
• Improve website titles and meta descriptions to improve search engine performance
• Collating export information for international shipping
• Calculating shipping rates for international shipments
• Improving product imagery to increase website conversions
• Finalizing the design of our mobile site

Order fulfillment 

As a small company it is important that everyone gets involved with all jobs.  We expect our interns to help out with order fulfillment i.e. helping with packing and warehouse management for about 1 day a week.  We find that this helps them to get a fuller picture of how the company works and also familiarizes them with the products we sell.  It also shows you how the complexities of the order system works and is managed.

Specific requirements

If you have specific requirements for your internship e.g.

• You need to spend the majority of your time on a specific project
• You need to experience in a particular area during your internship

You must tell us before arriving.  Unless requested otherwise we will assign tasks according to our business needs.

1.  Working Hours

Working hours for interns are 9a.m. – 5p.m.  Monday to Thursday and 9a.m. – 4p.m. Friday with one hour for lunch. You will not be required to work weekends or evenings.

2.  Place of work

We are located in St Albans, a town just outside London.

Period: at least 3 months.

Vergoedingen:

• We pay up to 100 pounds per month for travelling costs.

• Knows that he/she also will work 1 day per week in our warehouse collecting and sending our great products
• Only students who are eligible to work in the UK

Op basis van dit alles kijken wij of je geschikt bent voor de baan en de organisatie. Wij presenteren jouw gegevens aan het bedrijf en wanneer zij akkoord gaan kan je alles gaan regelen voor deze onvergetelijke baan.

Wij blijven beschikbaar voor advies, vragen etc.

Voor je cv/motivatie aanpassingen, presentatie, advies vragen wij een bescheiden bijdrage van 99 euro. Deze hoeft pas betaald te worden indien het bedrijf akkoord gaat met jou als hun nieuwe werknemer.

Als het bedrijf een gesprek met jou wenst dan vragen wij op voorhand het bedrag.

Als het bedrijf alsnog niet akkoord gaat met jouw sollicitatie, storten wij het bedrag retour of na overleg leggen wij jou bij een ander bedrijf voor.
